Hello everyone! Today we have a ton of awesome spoilers with some really powerful cards. Nissa, Vital Force is a five drop planeswalker that begins bashing in for 5 a turn with a land, and can bring back lands that have died or other creatures once it enters. The cool thing is that the land stays until the beginning of your next turn. Although this makes it more vulnerable to removal, it gives the option to use it as a blocker. The ultimate is actually quite easy to reach. In the late game, however, it might not be the best. It still just lets you redraw once per turn if you hit a land. It’s good, and will see Standard play in beatdown/midrange deck because the first ability gives it tons of damage output.
These are the two planeswalkers for the planeswalker decks. They’re underwhelming and unoriginal, but more planeswalkers for EDH superfriends or just more planeswalkers is always fine. Their loyalties both go up rather quickly and have rather expensive ultimates for some reason. This might be because they want the planeswalkers to not die so easily. Nissa, Nature’s Artisan is actually kind of ok. Though the first ability is horrible, the -4 is just terrific. It’s a green divination. Chandra, Pyrogenius is just burn, burn and more burn. I think they wan’t to keep them simpler for newer players.
Torrential Gearhulk is a card I really like. It’s just a really big snapcaster mage. I like it because you can flash it in and play an instant spell, and have a huge 5/6 left behind. Flashing back removal spells seems really efficient. No doubt a card for control decks. Madcap Experiment is a card I’m very excited about. I see as an artifact tutor for some combo decks that might emerge. The dealing yourself damage clause is a little risky, but who cares? (unless you’re dead)
