[50 Shades of Mizzix]: Mizzix Card Draw

I’m back with the fourth installment of 50 Shades of Mizzix! This is the makeup post for the week that I was on vacation. This week, we’re drawing all the cards. All of them! Not just 99, millions! All of them! Mwa HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!

How will we do this, you say? We’re going to cycle through our deck with a bunch of Wheel of Fortune type effects and find our Elixir of Immortality, then shuffle our library and draw all the cards all over again.

This deck is going to win by using some of the seven win-cons. You don’t have to worry about not finding the win-cons, because it’s super easy to cycle through your deck.

Niv-Mizzet and Sphinx’s Tutelage are both decent win-cons. Sphinx’s Tutelage and Niv-Mizzet will kill a player after about 35 cards drawn, which can be done pretty easily when you play Teferi’s Puzzle Box and or Arjun, the Shifting Flame.

Psychosis Crawler doesn’t just kill one player, it kills all of your opponents. It can also win by just smashing face. Jace’s Erasure is pretty ineffective, and will probably only mill out a player after ~70 cards drawn.

Chasm Skulker is our best creature win-con, because if the board gets wiped, you get a board full of Squids. The Squids can just murder any blue player, because they have islandwalk. Aeon Chronicler can help you draw a few cards earlier in the game, then it comes down as a win-con later on in the game.

What do you think of the deck? What kind of suggestions do you have for future 50 Shades?
