Set Review: Magic Origins

Hello everybody! Magic Origins is the last core set and Magic Origins is a great set. Wizards spent so much effort on making the last core set a blast. After covering all the spoilers, I thought this set was one of the best I have been around to experience. There were some really cool reprints that I’m happy to see back in Standard including Gaea’s Revenge, Sigil of the Empty Throne, and Goblin Piledriver. I’ve had a lot of cool ideas for new standard decks that I posted on the blog, and this set has been super fun. There are great new mechanics such as spell mastery, renown, and menace. There are also great sub-themes such as tribal elves and tribal goblins. As for storyline, this set has a killer one. It’s the origin stories of 5 planeswalkers: Jace, Liliana, Gideon, Nissa, and Chandra. What are your thoughts on the set? What do you think is the best card? Comment your thoughts below!
